The GORILLA-LIFT® trailer tailgate lift assist makes heavy utility trailer tailgates virtually weightless, helping raise and lower the gate with significantly less effort. Its 2-sided design provides lifting assistance on both sides of the tailgate for smooth, balanced operation.

The GORILLA-LIFT® 2-Sided system uses two enclosed housings mounted along the trailer’s side rails. The system assists both sides of the tailgate as it is raised and lowered, helping reduce the effort required to repeatedly handle a heavy utility trailer gate.

Built for Open Utility Trailers

The GORILLA-LIFT® trailer tailgate lift assist is designed for open utility trailers with side rails approximately 12 to 24 inches high and tailgates approximately 4 to 6 feet high. The system is adjustable to work with different tailgate sizes and weights, making it suitable for many landscaping, lawn care, construction, equipment and commercial utility trailers.

The 2-Sided GORILLA-LIFT® trailer tailgate lift assist is designed for applications where lifting assistance on both sides of the tailgate is desired. By assisting the gate from both sides, the system helps make raising and lowering heavy utility trailer tailgates easier while reducing the strain associated with repeated use.

Both lifting mechanisms are fully enclosed inside low-profile housings for added protection and safety. Stainless steel, hard nylon-coated cables, self-lubricating nylon rollers and rust-resistant hardware are used to withstand the demanding conditions utility trailers encounter.

The balanced 2-sided design can also help reduce stress on very heavy commercial-use tailgates, hinges and trailer components while making everyday loading and unloading easier.
